ARGFest-o-Con

Just a quick reminder that the deadline for registration is noon today, Pacific Standard Time. There are still a few slots left so get in there now if you haven’t already!

In case you hadn’t seen it, the conference schedule has been finalized and posted (barring any last-minute unforeseen SNAFU), and Jane has presented a personal invitation to YOU to play Cruel 2 B Kind on Friday night.

Register! - I need to be sure to order enough food for breakfast for us. I can’t do that until I know how many people are going to attend.

I got an email from Jane suggesting that she may change the location to a location she feels will be better for us, but wherever it is, we can get there from the hotel as well as from within SF.

The Exploratorium - we are going on Sunday. We are going to have a sign up sheet so we can collect money (they only take cash) -EGO is going to manage this, and then EGo has so kindly volunteered to buy the tickets for us in advance and hand them out to people.

Conference Schedule -As mentioned, the best thing about ARGFest is leaving it flexible for the schedule to be finalized. Just in the past two days I have had inquiries from Lonelygirl15 people (the video people) and the Op.Aphid PM, as well as an offer from 42 Entertainment to do a roundtable presentation for us. Woo!

For those that missed it before, the official ARGfest hotel is the Holiday Inn at Fisherman’s Wharf. There are actually two Holiday Inns within a block or so from each other and one of them even has suites for those of you that want to share a bigger space.

Note that the registration fee is for the event only; transportation and lodging are the responsibility of attendees.

Tomorrow, in the #argfest room at the Chat-Solutions IRC network, organizers and attendees alike will be present to discuss the festivities, as well as organize some of the details for the event. ARGFest-o-Con 2007 will be held Friday through Sunday, March 2-4, 2007, in San Francisco, California, USA. The focus will be on “How to PM a Game” and “the Future of ARGs” (these are working titles). The following weekend, anyone who is still in San Francisco, or who couldn’t make it the first weekend, will get together. Help is needed with planning both of these weekends.
